St. Philip Youth Group: Welcome

The adults and teenagers who "team" Confirmation, SPYCE, and Youth Group, are part of Peer Ministry at St. Philip Parish. St. Philip is a welcoming Catholic community, which strives to love, honor, know, and serve God. We are a family, and as a family, we gather to celebrate liturgy, perform good deeds, share our faith, and bring all to Christ. This site is intended to be viewed by Peer Mentors, Confirmation candidates, SPYCE students, Youth Group members, parents, and members of the St. Philip community! We are 10 days away from the 30 Hour Famine!! And, there are only 7 days left to register… act fast!We need volunteers to stand at all the doors of the church after every Mass this weekend! Sign up now at www.stphilipnorwalk.org and then make an online fundraising page:

We will be showing the movie "Rebuilding Hope" featuring our Famine speaker Gabriel Bol Deng in the school hall right before Confirmation this Sunday Feb 26th 4:30-6:00pm. Gabriel is one of the Lost Boys of the Sudan - come see Gabriel's amazing story before he comes to speak on Sat March 3rd.

  Hopefully, you have registered, invited a friend and have been hard at work getting donations. The excitement is definitely building – let's make this Famine AWESOME!!

ASH WEDNESDAY IS THIS Wednesday, February 22
There are two Mass: 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
There are three Word Services - 12:15, 4:00 and 5:30 p.m.
You can receive ashes at all of these services.

Since this is a Youth Group night, anyone who would like to go to the 7:30pm Mass should meet at youth group at 7:00pm. We will go as a group to the Mass and then return to Youth Group.
Those who do not wish to receive ashes may remain in the YAC.

Confirmation Session this Sunday 6-8:30pm in the school hall
