Pius outslugs Pottstown
POTTSTOWN - The St. Pius X Winged Lions banged out fourteen hits, including six extra base hits, to down the Pottstown Trojans 13-6 in a Pioneer Athletic Conference game.
Tom DeAngelis went 4-for-4 with a double and a triple, and scored five runs to lead the way for Pius. Joe Feldman was 3-for-5 with three runs scored and three stolen bases. Brian Hartsell was 2-for-5 with a double and three runs batted in. Matt Lesinski had a double and drove in four. Kevin Kieffer had a double and two RBIs. Pitcher Kenny Brock contributed to his own cause with an RBI double in the fifth inning.
Pius is now 9-5 in the PAC-10.
