Pius edges Pottsgrove in eight innings

Matt Lesinski's double in the bottom of the eighth completed the Winged Lions' comeback against the Falcons, staking them to a PAC-10 victory.
Lesinski drove home Matt Eliff, pinch running for Steve Cimino, who reached base on an error, to give the win to relief pitcher Tom DeAngelis. Pius (6-4) forced the game into extra innings by scoring twice in the sixth on a Brian Hartsell double and a Josh Martin single.
Notes: DeAngelis gave up only one hit over three innings of relief. St. Pius has turned seven double plays over the last three games. Pius has won six of their last seven games.
