The 2009 Springfield Cowboys dropped their season opener against the McKinley Broncos. The young but talented Cowboys fought hard but eventually fell to the Broncos 25-12.

The 2009 Springfield Cowboys gave all they had but fall short in their effort. The Redskins defeated the Cowboys 20-14. Next opponents will be the Jets.

Cowboys lose their third straight game to the Whitter Jets by a score of 6-26. Shorthanded and tired the Cowboys could not stop the Jets running game. Next opponent RC Redskins.
