How much does it cost for my child to participate?

$220 for Fall Tackle & $175 Cheerleading. 

My child has never played before will there be contact the first week?

No, our National rule book states that any athlete MUST complete a full 10 hours of conditioning before participating in any contact drills. Missing any time once practice starts can cause your athlete to fall behind.

When does practice start?

Practice starts August 1st or the Monday preceding August 1st, but your coach will contact you prior.

How many days a week do the teams practice?

Prior to Labor Day 5 days a week and after 3 days a week. The coaches set the schedules, but most cases after labor day it will be Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

How many games will we play?

The season starts with the Jamboree (practice games) in late August and then 8-9 regular season games. The JPW, PW & JM teams can make the league playoffs depending how they finish the regular season. If not, we will participate in an end-of-season Bowl Game, including the MM division. The season typically runs from August to November.

What day are games played on?

Games are played at various times on Saturday.

Will we be required to do any traveling?

Yes, some games are at our home field while others are away. The schedule will list the locations of each away game and our website will have links and directions to each opponents field.

What Football Equipment does the league provide?

Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Game Jersey & Pants, Socks and Knee Pads.

Do I need to supply any Football Equipment?

Yes, acceptable football cleats (talk to your coach for recommendations).  Practice jersey & pants, athletic supporter & cup. You are required to purchase from the league the chin strap and girdle (holds hip, thigh and tailbone pads) for $25, you keep these at the end of the season.

Are there minimum play requirements for Pop Warner teams?

Yes. The minimum number of plays per player varies depending on the number of players on a team, and is governed by Pop Warner rules. The minimum number of plays is usually 8-10 plays (excluding special teams plays).
