Congratulations to our JPW team for their 1st round playoff victory over the Fishhawk Wolfpack Blue 19-18 in double OT. This win was our first playoff win in our organizations history and a pivitol game for our entire program. They play next weekend against the Hardee Wildcats @ Tampa Bay Tech for the FYD Conference Championship.

We have been awarded to host the Don Clark Bowl on November 7th at our home field. Our (6-3) Peewee team will be playing the (4-4) Manatee Bulldogs at 9:00 AM.

2009 FYD CHEER JAM  

Thank you to everyone for your support at Cheer Jam on Sunday. The event was a success. All of our cheerleaders did an awesome job with their routines. The hard work and dedication throughout the season on all cheer teams from both the coaches and cheerleaders paid off.  Congratulations to our Junior Pee Wee Cheer Team. They were awarded second place in the Intermediate Small Division. 2010 Pre-Registration: 

Pre-Registraion for returning players will continue the week of 11-02-09 during practice. Forms can be picked up at our concession stand. There is a $50.00 Non-Refundable registration fee to reserve your child's spot on a 2010 FALL TEAM.

Junior Midget Team: 

Our JM team got together on November 1st to complete their season with their year-end party. We had an awesome time with a lot of great food. We even had a TV so Coach Fran could watch football, and we played our annual kick-ball game the kids vs the parents.

The success of this team cannot be measured by a win-loss record. They had some of the most exciting games of the season for our organization. Thanks to all the players, coaches, team mom's and parents for a great season.

FYD 2009 STANDINGS

We are proud to announce that our own Darin Kilfoyl, Austen Love, Aaron Shea, and Ryan Verscharen have all been selected to the O-D Youth All American team!  They were selected out of over 5,000 players.

They have been invited to play in the O-D Youth All-American Bowl in Myrtle Beach, SC on January 2, 2010.  

The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports. Be sure to congratulate them on this great accomplishment!

We would like to thank Preston Jackson (BCP) and Jim Shea (SPP) for putting together a great clinic for our SPP coaching staff and thank the following Hillsborough County HS coaches for volunteering their time and sharing their football knowledge with our coaches.  

The clinic was a great start to our season and will help improve our kids and organization. Thanks again and great job to all the coaches!

2009 Offense-Defense Camp 

14 kids from SPP attended this year's O-D Youth Football Camp at Saint Leo University. The camp is a full-contact camp for five days where the kids get to stay in the dorms and work with pro & college coaches to improve and work on specific skills and fundamentals.

The kids got to meet the Bucs Head Coach, Raheem Morris and RB Earnest Graham and received autograghs from him.

We had 4 of our kids (Ryan Verscharen, Darren Kilfoyl, Aaron Shea & Austen Love) receive MVP awards for their respective teams. Please see our album section of the boys receiving their awards.
