The Southern Maryland Ospreys is a Fast Pitch Softball Organization with the goal of teaching and enabling young girls to enjoy and play competitive Softball.

The 2009 Fundraiser events were a huge success!!!

Thanks to all that participated in the Sport Decal, Cheeseburger in Paradise and Applebee's Pancake Fundraisers.  Every little bit of money we raised as a league will benefit the girls during the on & off season!

Kudos to Ms. Wanda for her exemplatory coordination efforts!

Pitchers are encouraged to continue practice at home, with your private pitching coaches and through your participation in Little League teams.

Softball, it's more than just a game!

If you don't play fast-pitch, don't say you play softball!

It's not how good you are. It's how bad you want it!

Softball is not created equal!

To some softball is game, to others it's life!

Softball today, softball tomorrow, softball forever!

Sometimes the only thing fair in life is a ball hit between 1st and 3rd!

Fast-pitch softball, if it were easy, boys would do it!

I can go from 1st to 3rd on a single to center, break up a double play at 2nd, score the winning run with a head first slide into home, and still leave the field looking like a lady!

Softball is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. No one has ever drowned in sweat!

I'm a crowd pleasin', chant yellin', homerun hittin', t-shirt wearin', ball catchin', hand clappin', big smilin', kick butt SOFTBALL PLAYER!

Practice as a team, play as a team, win as a team!
