South Montgomery Girls Softball League: Team Parent Information

SPOOKTACULAR 

It’s almost time for our Fall Spooktacular tournament. October 30^th & 31^st (Halloween) 

There will be a tournament in which all teams will participate. Your managers will have your starting game times soon after the Oct 10th games. All teams except 6U division should be prepared to play AT LEAST 2 games. More information regarding tournament play will be coming soon!!  Girls are allowed to wear costumes on Saturday the 31^st, but please nothing that interferes with ball play! (ie angel wings, long tails, wedding dresses J) 

On Saturday, Halloween, there will be fun activites such as moonwalks, facepainting, and a spook house!! More details to come soon!!  

***PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!*** 

We need your help!! For Spooktacular to be a success, we need the help of parent volunteers. Older children can help too! All we need is parents willing to sign up to help out in hour long shifts throughout the day. Help may include taking tickets for the moonwalks, spook house, etc.

 Below is the Information Packet that was given to all players at Registration. If you registered ONLINE you did not receive this, or if you came on the last saturday when we ran out. Please take a moment to review the handout. There is a Parent/Player Code of Conduct form which will need to be printed, signed, and turned in to your coach as soon as possible.

In the Fall season teams do not usually do team banners, this tradition is normally saved for the Spring season. However if your team would like to do a banner, below are listed some banner contacts used in the past.

One thing that has been found to be valuable in every season, is visor embroidery. In the dugouts visors get easily misplaced, having the girl's names embroidered helps tremendously. Also since we don't do numbers on the jerseys in the Fall which disappoints the girls- you can let them pick numbers to embroider on the visor which will make them happy!! :) Below is also a list of embroidery contacts.
