Big Blue had the opportunity to meet up with Chino Hills in the Walnut Championship game, who had already played a tough semi-final game vs. Chino Gold.

Maddy pitched a great game, allowing 3 hits and ultimately giving up one run in the top of the 5th.

After a slow start out of the gate, scoring one run in the first inning, Big Blue brought out the bats in innings 3 and 4 to go up 8-0 over Chino Hills. With a mercy in their grasp, Big Blue gave up 1 run in the top of the 5th.

Still needing a run to end the game, and 2 outs on the board, Amy drew the walk to get on base. Jassy, with a 1-1 count drew a shot up the alley to score Amy for the game-winning mercy run, making Big Blue the 2008
