Friday, January 11FAQ's
What are the ages for Super Slam Ball?
The ages that may register are between the ages of 3-4 years. Your age is determined as of 5/1/09.
My son has a friend that would like to play on his team. Can this be arranged?
Without question! We can certainly arrange for this! Our first priority with the league is to make sure the kids are having a great time. And this includes kids playing with their friends, schoolmates and neighbors!
I am a parent and interested in volunteering, what can I offer?
Although, we will have coaches affiliated with the Arlington Wolves Baseball Club on site, we will most definitely be searching for coaches and other volunteer assistance.
When and what times are the games held?
All games will be played on Saturday afternoons, generally between the hours between 3-5pm at a central location within Arlington County.
What's up with the $70 registration fee? Most other leagues charge less.
True. However, what we offer with Super Slam Ball is the experience of a lifetime for each child that joins. Baseball cards and stickers are guaranteed for each child at the end of each session. We will also have an awards ceremony during the last week, pizza party, moon bounce, kids races and much more. The fee also covers purchasing new equipment, t-shirts, hats and league insurance. Please note that Active.com charges an online processing fee, which is approximately 8.1% cost of the total registration. To avoid this, you may send your registration form to the mailing address listed.
What is the policy on refunds?
For the Fall 2009 season, no refunds will be issue after the first week, however deferments are available for the 2010 Spring season.
When will we be notified of what team my daughter/son is on? Where and when the games are and any other revelant information?Everyone will be notified by September 14th, 2009 by email. The information will also be listed on the website. Please make sure your email accounts are allowed to receive emails from alexfilides@gmail.com and superslamball@gmail.com
