IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT FAST PITCH SOFTBALL: With Hughesville Baseball and Softball Association no longer offering Little League Fast Pitch Softball as part of their program, St Mary's American Little League will now offer Fast Pitch Softball to all girls of St. Mary's County. Sunday, January 18
Opening Day Schedule - April 18th
Opening Day and Picture Day for the 2009 spring season will be on April 18th. The Opening Day ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM at Chancellors Run Regional Park.
There are 11 teams scheduled to have pictures taken before the opening ceremonies. These teams need to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early before their scheduled picture time. See attached schedule or the handout section for team picture times and game times/locations.
All other teams should arrive by 9:30 to 9:45 AM. Teams will find their team name on the fence along field #1 and line up along the fence. Managers must make sure the VP'S have your assistant coaches name's .Opening ceremonies will begin at 10:00 AM. About 11:00 AM pictures will resume and games will begin by 11:30 AM. Teams will have a designated place to meet before pictures are taken. Teams will receive fundraising information and packets about Butter Braids. Team parents will be given an Information sheet to inform teams when to collect all orders, when and where to turn all money and orders in, and pick up days. Half of the league will be scheduled to pick up one night and the other half will be scheduled to pick up second night. Schedule for team pick up nights will be send out later.
Pictures will be scheduled for April 18, 2009 rain or shine.

Out-of-Boundary Waiver Request
The information and forms below are required ONLY for players who played previously in SMALL and have since moved out of boundaries, but want to continue to play in SMALL (or in some cases have a sibling who wants to play in SMALL)
Note that there are restrictions associated with playing on such a Waiver, and the request is subject to approval by the League President and District Administrator. See the Waiver form for details.
Note also that supporting documentation as described in the Residence Eligibility Requirements below must be provided for both the OLD (in Boundaries) address and the new (out of Boundaries) address in order to process a Waiver request.
