WELCOME TO ST. MARY'S AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUE

IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT FAST PITCH SOFTBALL:  With Hughesville Baseball and Softball Association no longer offering Little League Fast Pitch Softball as part of their program, St Mary's American Little League will now offer Fast Pitch Softball to all girls of St. Mary's County.  If you have any questions please contact our league president, Donna Bowles, at 301-373-3250 or e-mail at Dbowles12345@aol.com

ST. MARY'S AMERICAN LITTLE LEAGUE offers organized baseball and fastpitch softball to the children of St. Mary's County ages 5 through 18.  We serve families in central St. Mary's County.  Check our boundaries below to see if you reside in the area we serve.

Fall Ball Information!

Fall Ball online registration is OPEN

Fall Ball will start the week of Sept 14th and run to Nov 7th

SMALL will be offering:

Co-Ed T-Ball (Ages 4 - 7: Must be 5 as of April 30th 2010)

Machine Pitch (Ages 6 - 8) /PonyTail Softball (Ages 6- 8)

Minor/Major Baseball and Softball (8 - 12)

Junior Baseball and Softball (Ages 12 - 16: Must be 13 as of April 30th 2010 for baseball, 16 yr old cannot pitch and 13 by December 31, 2009 for Softball)

Fall Ball Walk-in Registration Dates

August 18, Tuesday: 6:00PM to 8:00PM Chancellors Run Community Center

August 20, Thursday: 6:00PM to 8:00PM Chancellors Run Community Center

August 22, Saturday: 10:00AM to 1:00PM Leonardtown Drill Hall  (Leonardtown on Route 245 adjacent to the Governmental Center Complex)

August 25, Tuesday: 6:00PM to 8:00PM Chancellors Run Community Center

August 27, Thursday: 6:00PM to 8:00PM Chancellors Run Community Center

August 29, Saturday: 10:00AM to 1:00PM Leonardtown Drill Hall (Leonardtown on Route 245 adjacent to the Governmental Center Complex)

September 1, Tuesday: 6:00PM to 8:00PM Chancellors Run Community Center

September 3, Thursday: 6:00PM to 8:00PM Chancellors Run Community Center

Game Information

T-Ball: Games played on Saturday mornings

Baseball: All games will be played on week nights starting at 6:00pm and Friday nights 6:00pm or 8:00pm.

Softball: Play one night during the week and on Saturdays and will involve some travel

Fees

Baseball and Softball: $55.00 1st player, $45.00 2nd player, $135.00 per family for 3 or more

T-Ball/Pony Tail: $30.00 1st player, $20.00 2nd player, $60.00 per family for 3 or more T-Ball/PonyTail

(for 2 children with 1 T-Ball age the fees would be $55.00 + $30.00 = $85.00)

Managers and Coaches

If you are interested in managing or coaching for Fall Ball please let Donna know at: dbowles12345@aol.com 

If you are interested in being a manager for a Fall team you must take a coach certification class through the County. If you have already taken the class in the Spring season then you do not have to repeat the class for the fall. The information to follow about the date, time, and location of the certification class.

Congratulations!  Congratulations to girls and coaches of the St. Mary's 11-12 yr old All Star Softball Team for winning the state tournament!

They will be traveling to Albany, NY for the Eastern Regional finals next week.  Thier first game will be Saturday, August 1st, at 9:00am against Delaware.

Out-of-Boundary Waiver Request

The information and forms below are required ONLY for players who played previously in SMALL and have since moved out of boundaries, but want to continue to play in SMALL (or in some cases have a sibling who wants to play in SMALL)

Note that there are restrictions associated with playing on such a Waiver, and the request is subject to approval by the League President and District Administrator. See the Waiver form for details.

Note also that supporting documentation as described in the Residence Eligibility Requirements below must be provided for both the OLD (in Boundaries) address and the new (out of Boundaries) address in order to process a Waiver request.
