Bomb Squad Waiver for Evaluations

We have been contacted by URI Baseball to ask if our league was interested in helping to sell raffle tickets for their annual raffle. URI offered to share the profit of tickets we sell with South Kingstown Little League. Since SKLL has not held a raffle in a few years we thought this would be a good opportunity to raise additional revenue for the league and develop a partnership with the university.

Proceeds from ticket sales would be used for player development (clinics / training), purchase new equipment, and upgrade the facilities utilized by SKLL. This would have a direct positive impact on our baseball and softball players and enhance the programs offered by our league.

Tom and Angie Geary from Wakefield's Bedrock Tree Farm have invited South Kingstown Little League to enjoy their tree farm again this year. They will have Douglas, Canaan and Fraser fir trees, as well as wreaths and gift baskets available for purchase. Registration for the Spring 2013 season is now open! This year, all registrations will be processed online through SportsSignup at http://www.sportssignup.com/South-Kingstown-Little-League-Online-Registration.start. For those who are unable to register online, Walk-in Registration will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 9 am to 12:00 noon at the Neighborhood Guild, 325 Columbia Street, Peace Dale. Those families new to SKLL or who have changed residency within the past year may drop off copies of their proofs of age and residency at that time if they prefer not to send them through the mail. A registration form is linked below for your convenience.

Rhode Island District 3 Little League has released information regarding Rhode Island Title 16-91 School and Youth Programs Concussion Act, sections 16-91-3 and 16-91-4 (attached). Title 16-91 will be in effect at all District 3 Tournament games and all State Tournaments hosted by District 3.
