SOUTH JERSEY DEMONS

The South Jersey Demons are looking forward to an exciting 2009/2010 season in the Blue Division of the United Womens Hockey League. Last year, we finished in first place in the Blue Division of the UWHL.  Our Vision is to form a team of women of like-minded purpose who love the game of hockey and want to develop our skills through high-caliber coaching and team play. We strive to create, promote and sustain an environment in which each participant is challenged and supported in pursuit of personal growth and development of her hockey skills and sportsmanship. Oh Yeah - We want to have a load of FUN along the way! For more information about the Demons, contact Larry at icecat10@comcast.net.

The Demons struggled in the beginning of the season to improve our team to better compete with the more experienced American and Phoenix teams. By Seasons end, we had become a very cohesive team and played our heart outs to beat the American in our first round of the playoffs. Beating the American put us into the Championship game with the Phoenix. The Demons were very competitive until the very end of the game but fell short of the big win. We are very proud to have come from behind to place second in the UWHL.
