Sunset Junior Baseball is a Summer based program available to children ages 5-16 living in the Sunset High School boundary. Sunset Junior Baseball is a member of the WEST HILLS DISTRICT and JUNIOR BASEBALL OF OREGON (JBO). Along with our sister associations, which are also aligned with their area High Schools, we provide a local and varied pool of competition with whom we compete and learn. JBO offers three age levels of play Seniors for 13-14 year olds. Juniors for 11-12 year olds and Midgets for 9-10 year olds. At each age level JBO offers three levels of competition. Federal (traveling teams) American ( mostly second year players at the age level) and National ( first year players at an age level).
Sunset Junior Baseball Association is a member of the WEST HILLS DISTRICT of JUNIOR BASEBALL OF OREGON. This is a summer based program not to be confused with Little League.
JBO features modified high school baseball rules (including leading off and stealing), increasing field sizes and teams that play competively in tournaments and post-season play as a "unit" (no all-star teams).

Motto.......
Let us not forget that the true value of the program is not in winning games, but in keeping as many youths as possible engaged in clean wholesome activity. There are many valuable lessons to be learned in a program such as this...far beyond the scope of baseball.
