2008 Stephen Siller Stingrays Classic
The Stingrays would like the thank all teams for participating in the 2008 Stephen Siller Stingrays Classic. We also want to thank all of our staff and volunteers for making the tournament run smoothly. It was a great two weekends and we hope to see you all very soon!

The Staten Island Stingrays are a non-profit AAU Basketball organization. We are one of the largest and most successful AAU programs in the metropolitan area. There are a total of 14 Stingrays teams this year, including our organization's first ever girls' team (9u). We had 5 teams qualify for the AAU National Championships last year, and are looking to expand that number this year!

The Staten Island Stingrays would like to thank the coaching staff from the Hofstra University Men's Basketball Team for giving our coaches a clinic Wednesday, April 2nd at the new JCC. We had a great turnout from our Stingrays coaches, and would like to thank them for all the hard work and dedication they put into running their teams. We look forward to having many more coaches and players clinics.

This is the Third Consecutive Year that the Stingrays have had 3 or more teams qualify for the Nationals !

Congratulations to the 2007 Stingrays 15u (Blue) team, coached by Rich Costello, for qualifying in the D-1 Nationals. They finished the 2007 season as 5th place in the country.
