Anzacs go from strength to strength! Current record is played 6, won 3, drawn 1, lost 2, putting us in to 4th place in the league. Significant improvement from last year since the introduction of the new management team! We recently beat Premiership side Beaver United in the League Cup to put us in the the Quarterfinals! A great achievement

Although called Anzacs, (as the team was started by our antipedian friends, Sean & Stu) We are a team of multi national players ranging in ages from 23 to 50 years old and we even have our own Veteran's squad for both domestic & international tours!

After a challanging start to the season last year, we ended on a high of 6 straight wins including those which took us to the SIFL Cup Semi Final. Training, recruitment & squad balance finally came together! We won the Summer 2008 "Shanghai World Cup 7's" plate competition & reached the semi final of the Manila Nomads plate competition in November, going out on a golden goal. We reached the Semi final of the domestic SIFL (FA) cup (losing to the eventual winners) having beaten the premiership 'Oranje' 2.0 & Division 1 champions Krauts. We also became the first team last season to defeat the Division champions (Krauts) in the league by beating them 4.2 (not in extra time!). We retained our Summer 7's plate trophy this summer. A piece of Shanghai history as this is the first time this has been achieved! (photo above)

We train on wednesdays from 6.45 to 8.45, (including warm ups, fitness training, drills and ofcourse playing) so feel free to contact us for an invitation (see "Locations" section for Jin An Stadium map).
