Shanghai Lions' History:

We are mainly of French origin, but we have had some players from Spain, Germany, Sweden, Cameroon and Netherland...

The Team has been founded in 1998 and the past years, our name has been known as "Olympique Camembert" followed by "Les Bleus in 2001.

In 2008, we have decided to sell our "French" soul and follow a professional trend by "naming" our team and we carried this on in 2009 by changing our name from the Shanghai Bulldogs to the Shanghai Lions.

More seriously, this has been for us the opportunity to open the team to non- French speaking players aiming to strenthen our international accent.
