Hello and welcome to the world of the BIG BAMBOO Shanghai Vikings!
We are a bunch of previous pro-players who have dedicated our skills to the Shanghai Vikings soccer team. A Danish team, but blended with Vikings with true Viking blood from our times of touring the world, raping and pillaging wherever we went.
The Shanghai Vikings is probably... the best team in the league, and we pride ourselves with numerous victories in the league (over the years....)
2011/12 season is on and this squad is rocking and aiming for the top spot of the premier league. Proudly sponsored by Big Bamboo (Jin qiao, Gubei & Nanyang Lu) as well as Carlsberg, Bo Concept and Sydbank.
We are famous for many things - apart from the amazing soccer skills, the brutal Viking attitude and great team spirit, our helmets is just another one of them. Fierce as we look, they represent our grand Viking history (and are practical, when we have to identify eachother at odd hours on a Saturday night out...)
We practise very often at BIG BAMBOO where we drink Carlsberg..... favorite mixture for a great day in Shanghai....
We join the Viking Cup EVERY YEAR during Easter. Vikings from all over Asia - well... the World joined in for soccer and funs for 4 days. Winners 2006 + 2008 Shanghai !!
We play soccer every Saturday - and practise often on Wednesday evening.
