We are very excited about 2009 and all that lies in store!

We will be having tryouts on February 1st. All positions are open. We will have some of the girls from last years team returning, but they will have to compete for starting postions along side of everyone else. We believe in teaching our girls multiple positions for this reason. Positions will be earned not awarded and our players will be held accoutible for their positions. We will only be carrying 2 bracket pitchers so there will be a lot of mound time to go around.

We are a team that believes in working hard when it's time to work and playing hard when it's time to play. We only want players and parents with high aspirations and expectations in the development of our players skills. We will be looking at 1994 and 1995 birth years so that we may remain together.We believe a team that stays together and grows together promotes the highest rate of development in our players personal abilities and team work skills.

We are not a team that doesn't allow parents to be involved. As a matter of fact we incourage our parents to be involved. This does numerous things to help the team, but the 2 main things this brings is a high comfort level for both players and parents and it also creates a family enviroment. We all know that our output and development largely depend on our comfort level. We will have multiple parent/coaches meetings so that any questions, concerns or even suggestions can be brought to the fore front without personal feelings getting in the way. Our number 1 goal is the development of our players.

In 2008 we were hurt badly by injuries, so our record really doesn't show how much our team overcame and grew. I believe 2009 will show just how much our players and team improved.
