Welcome to the San Gabriel Valley Arsenal website. The Arsenal was established in the summer of 2001 with players from throughout the San Gabriel Valley. With the success of the program we have attracted top players from throughout Southern California. We now have players from the San Fernando Valley, Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego County, High Desert and the Greater Los Angeles area to form 4 teams for the classes 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012.

The West Covina Dukes and San Gabriel Valley Arsenal have come together
under the Maverick Baseball Academy name. While we are both are and
will continue to be separate organizations we both have the same
beliefs in fundamental baseball development of the youth in our
community. The West Covina
Dukes will have a 13u and 14u teams. The SGV Arsenal will have teams
from 15u to 18u. Our goal is to enrich the baseball in the City of West Covina, the San Gabriel Valley and bring top baseball events to Maverick field.

SGV ARSENAL FIRST WORKOUT and WORKOUT PROGRAM MAY 23 AT MAVERICK FIELD
The SGV Arsenal first workout will be held on May 23 at Maverick field at 6:45. Workout will last until 9:00 pm. All SGV players please come fully dressd andready to go. Only player not in playoffs will be allowed to workout. I will also be handing out the new Evoshield T shirts at the first workout.
The SGV Arsenal will be starting a workout program for players NOT in the SGV program. Players must from fromgraduating classes of 2015 thru 2012. The workout program is open to all high school aged players. The cost of the workout program is $10 per session or $30 a month. We are getting many inquiries for tryouts for the summer season. Our teams are in place but will look at players during the workouts to see if the fit works. Players will work along side with all the SGV Arsenal players in the program every Wednesday. The San Gabriel Valley Arsenal Baseball Club is an organization that fields a team for each High School graduating class in Southern California every summer. They compete on a national level, and their players are regularly All-Americans featured on Perfect Game, Under Armor, Area Codes, and AFLAC. In 2010, the 16U Arsenal club won the Mickey Mantle World Series in Texas. I recently had the opportunity to talk to the Arsenal founder and coachMichael Viera.
