Welcome to the home of the ADRIAN AREA SOCCER CLUB

The Adrian Area Soccer Club (AASC) of Adrian, MI registers boys and girls aged U10 to U18 (High School) to play competitive travel soccer. AASC teams play against other regional club teams and in tournaments. It is our goal to promote the game of soccer in Adrian and the surrounding area, and to provide a program that prepares players for the high school level and beyond. Players receive quality technical and tactical coaching from volunteer coaches trained through SEMSA, MSYSA, USSF, and NSCAA.

The club functions as a nonprofiit organizatoin with all positons filled by parent and community volunteers.

AASC is the primary sponsor of the SEMSA Cup Tournament, held annually in June at Heritage Park in Adrian. Teams from U10 - U14 participate each year in this weekend tournament. Watch the SEMSA website for tournament information.

The primary mission of the club is to foster a spirit of fun and growth, while learning a game that gives a lifetime of enjoyment.
Feel free to browse our website anytime. You will find a good deal of information here about our club. Also feel free to contact us for more information and registration details. All interested youth from the Adrian area are welcome to join us.

A few more people are needed to volunteer to manage certain tasks or commit to bringing necessary items. If you can help with any of these please contact Corinne at 265-8860 or cttipton@verizon.net

Someone to take charge of renting the tent.

Someone to be in charge of merchandise to sell.

AASC Meetings VERY Important!

Attendance at the AASC meetings has been very poor. It is extremely imperative that we have parent volunteers to keep the club active! It is not easy for the same few people to keep the club running smoothly. We cannot possibly do it all. We all want a place for our children to play competitive soccer; therefore, we must all pitch-in. Generally the meetings are held only once a month. The dates and times are posted here on the website, and if you should miss one, the minutes of each meeting are also on the website. Each team should have a coach and a manager, both of whom should attend the meetings. In addition, the club needs volunteers (other than coaches) to fill other necessary positions. Right now the coaches are doing all the legwork for the club. They should not have to do anything except coach; teach our children the game of soccer and sportsmanship. Parents please start attending the meetings and consider helping your child through helping the organization by becoming involved. The club will fail without everyone's support.

Relay For Life Activities In Full Swing!

Please come join us for this fun-filled weekend. Sign up online through the link below, or contact Corinne Tipton at 265-8860 or cttipton@verizon.net.  It's easy to join and FREE.

The theme for this year's relay is:

CELEBRATE. REMEMBER. FIGHT BACK.

This theme is totally sports oriented; therefore it fits our team perfectly. We will direct all our ideas at soccer related activities. One idea presented already is to run a dunk tank where the participants kick or "throw in" a soccer ball at the target. (Instead of the standard softball)

Don't forget-we'll need team members to sit in the tank too!

Many more ideas are needed! Join us now and be part of the planning process.
