Safety Equipment Requirments

In order to speedskate with SEISSC you must wear all the following: Form fitting long sleeve shirt and long pants, knee pads, shin guards, neck protector, helmet and cut resistive gloves.
Other Recommendations - Safety goggles (raquetball goggles work well) cut resistive leg and arm sleeves, cut resistive shorts, cut resistive suit. See www.cutproof.com
Tips on some of these - www.specialequipment.com is a good place to get helmets and neck protectors, Walmart is a good place to get knee pads, plain old Bike volleyball knee pads work pretty good. Trace knee pads work better. Soccer shin pads work good but not the one's with the ankle protector, just a plain shin pad.
