T-Ball Ages 5-6 This division is to teach the players the fundamentals of baseball. 8U 10U Ages 9-10 This division is the participant’s first taste of real baseball. Players will now have the opportunity to experience things such as “double plays”, “attempts to steal a base”, and “hitting against pitchers on the other team”. Pitching mound is 45 feet. bases are 70 feet. 12U Ages 11-12 This division is exactly like the 10U division with the exception that kids can lead off with other added new rules. Pitching distance is 53 feet and the distance between bases is 80 feet. 15U Ages 13-15 Players will move to a field 250’ in length and base paths 80’ apart. The speed of the game in this division begins to move much faster as the kids become bigger, faster, and stronger. Jim Foster is the commissioner for the 15U division. This division plays teams outside the Swartz Creek area. Pre-T (U4) This Division is for 3 and 4 year olds that are new to baseball, that will teach the future players skills to help them develop as baseball player. Alexis Cartwright will be coordinating this age group. |
