A huge thank you to the President of our umpires association Ken Johnson and his great team of umpires. We could not have done it without you.

Game Etiquette reminders:
It is important that players be at the game at least 15 min prior to game start so coaches can prepare their lineups and prepare the team for the game.   Older players, 11yrs and up should be at the field at least 30 minutes prior so they can warm up properly. This is to prevent injuries to the players.

SCYA is a non-profit, tax exempt, youth baseball association located at Wallace Park in Southwest Cobb County.   Our primary purpose of this association is to provide the youth of our community with a program where the major emphasis is on education, character building, sportsmanship, and having fun; building up their baseball skills is a bonus.  Our main goal is to ensure that the enjoyment of participating and learning for all children is a reality.

SCYA is a member of the Cobb County Parks and Recreation Department (CCPRD). This department is responsible for overseeing all parks and recreation areas in Cobb County. More than 75 public youth associations located in Cobb County are under their jurisdiction.

REBUILDING FOR OUR KIDS,OUR PARK AND OUR COMMUNITY.

A huge THANK YOU to all our parents for bringing your kids to play in "our park..."our community".
Our goal is to make this the best park in Cobb County. We couldn't do it without you.
Looking for your support in the 2009 season.
Please be sure to encourage your friends and family to support SCYA.
Online donations are being accepted year round

We need your help
Our program's success depends on those parents willing to volunteer their time and talents to the park. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity, coaching, official scoreekeeper, concessions, lining fields, fundrasing etc, please be sure to let us know.
