We Need Your Help
Parental involvement from each family is crucial to the continued success of the South Carroll Soccer Club. We are very fortunate to have a wonderful group of dedicated folks who generously give of their free time to make this one of the best programs in the county. The efforts of all the coaches, managers, field maintenance workers, referees and organizers make all of this possible. Unfortunately, there are a few who do a lot, some who do a little, but many who do nothing at all to help out.
Our program is growing rapidly, but so are the responsibilities. Often we hear from people who want to help, but just don't know how to get involved aside from coaching. Here are some other suggestions ...
Offer to line the fields in the morning on game days or mow the fields occasionally
Sponsor a team with an individual or business donation
Help with a fundraiser for the club or your child's team
Help the coach set up drills at practices
Become a team parent and help the coach with paperwork, uniforms or team building events
Become a club representative for your child's team
Organize post-game snacks or phone lists for your child's coach/team
Also very important, a couple of our officer positions will become available in the spring. If you are interested in the future of this club for your children, please consider filling one of these positions now, so we have replacements for these spots in advance.
Any assistance you can offer is certainly welcomed and greatly appreciated. If you can spare a little time to help in any way or might consider a board position, please contact your coach or Craig Hall ( craighhall@comcast.net ).
