Our 2009 Team

 The 2009 Hornets players include Marlee, Taylor, Maylana, Natalie, Clairissa, Cora, Jessica, Sydney, Allison, Kaylee, Morgan and Rachel

We had our Crystal Palace Camp at the end of July and our practices for the Fall season are on Tuesday and Thursday.

We ended up with a tough draw in the rain shortened Gettysburg Battlefield Blast.  However, our girls played well and improved their play each game.  Thanks again to Sydney and Julia for joining the Hornets for the weekend.

We look forward to starting our Fall BBSL Season on Sept. 12 

We are also planning to play a Columbus Day tournament.

The Hornets completed their first year of Fall soccer in the U11 Central Maryland Short-Sided Soccer League (CMSSL).  It was a great learning experience for the girls and they improved their level of play throughout the Fall season.  The Hornets also participated in their first tournament, the FC Frederick Columbus Day Shootout on 10/11 & 10/12.

The girls also participated in the first session of the Carroll Indoor Soccer league and then spent the rest of the Winter and early Spring playing pick-up futsal indoors at a local school gym.
