PAL Swim For Survival Program: Welcome

2009 - P.A.L. - SWIM FOR SURVIVAL PROGRAM

The Suffolk County Police Athletic League is offering a Swim For Survival Instructional Program for those children who have no experience swimming. The program is designed to teach basic water survival skills to children in a short period of time. This program is not for children who have had basic swimming instructions, either through the Red Cross, YMCA, or Safety Swim Programs.

The Program is open to children between the ages 5-10 years. The instructions will be divided into two (2) classes with each session lasting 45 minutes and conducted on four (4) consecutive Thursdays. Certified instructors from St. Joseph’s College will provide the swim instructions. The program will be held at The Danzi Sports Center located on the campus of St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 40 CHILDREN ON A FIRST-COME FIRST SERVED BASIS.
