The Pride sophomores wanted their final home games of the season to end on a high note and it did.  In game one, Freshmen Craig Koehler made his 3rd start of the season.  Control issues and sloppy defense gave the Blazers three runs in the first off Koehler, and all of those runs came on one hit.  That would be an important stat because for the rest of the game, that number stayed at one.  Koehler settled down and started throwing up zeros on the scoreboard, giving his team a chance to come back.  Offensively, the Tartan hitters couldn't get anything going in the first four innings.  Finally in the 5th, Joe Ford put the Pride on the board with an RBI single to left scoring Mike Maddle.  Sinclair also scored a run in the 6th off the bat of Darwin Argumedo, who hit his first career homerun to left.  Koehler finished his day after six very good innings and Ryan Carter pitched a scoreless 7th as the Pride still trailed 3-2.  With one out, Mike Maddle got things started after being hit on the foot.  Corey Johnson entered the game as a pinch runner and was on the move as Joe Ford laced a ball into the right centerfield gap.  Ford slid into third for the triple and Johnson scored, tying the game at three.  After an intentional walk to Austin Downing, the Blazer pitcher never got back into the grove as he walked Kyle Vander Ark and Daniel Holtzman to end the game.

Final Score: #7 Sinclair 4 Vincennes 3

WP: Ryan Carter (1-1) IP BB

Offensive Leaders: Joe Ford 2-4 RS 3B 2RBI's, Drew Williams 1-2 2B, Darwin Argumedo 1-2 BB HR (1).

In his last performance at Vincennes, starter TJ Teets did not have a good day.  The freshmen struggled and gave up a season high nine hits in the loss and didn't finish the 3rd inning.  Wednesday was a new day, a new opportunity, and Teets turned it around.  Teets controlled the entire game and went six strong innings without allowed a single run.  While Teets was doing his thing on the mound, the offense put up some runs in the middle innings of the game and had multiple hit games from four players.  Two year starters Joe Ford and Kyle Vander Ark made sure that they would win their last game at Grady's fields with very good performances at the plate.

Final Score: #7 Sinclair 7 #16 Vincennes 0

WP: TJ Teets (3-2)

Offensive Leaders: Joe Ford 2-4 RS 2RBI's, Kyle Vander Ark 2-3 RS BB RBI, Darwin Argumedo 2-4 RS 2B, Matt Sullivan 2-2 RS SAC 2B 2RBI's.

With the wins, the Pride improve to 38-12 on the season.  This weekend the Pride will travel to Cleveland to take on Cuyahoga Community College in the final conference series of the season.
