The regular season has officially come to a close...congratulations to our Pee Wees, winners of their 2nd consecutive Division Championship! Go to the Meadowlands Football Link - www.meadowlandsfootball.net - to view the season's scores, standings, and other league information...
This weekend begins the "playoffs" for our Pee Wee and Junior squads, as well as Mighty Mite Day for our Pee Wee 7 squad. Our seniors have played their last game, and we congratulate them for a valiant effort in the face of adversity - injuries, coaching changes - our boys stuck it out and kept their chins up!

DIRECTIONS TO ELMWOOD PARK HIGH SCHOOL:
Memorial Field - Elmwood Park High School - 375 River Drive
Take back roads to access field - Midland Ave from either direction - left or right at light to Molnar Drive - follow down into Elmwood Park - come to light at Boulevard - make a right - follow Boulevard down several blocks until you get to Gilbert Ave - make a left onto Gilbert Ave - field is on the right side (behind the high school, which faces River Drive)
PEE WEES:

DIRECTIONS TO HEIGHTS FIELD (field is ON Route 17):
Take Route 17 (from either direction) to Franklin Ave. Exit

REMINDER! FOOTBALL PICTURE DAY for Pee Wee, Junior & Senior squads will now be held this Monday, October 11th in the following order:
SENIORS – arrive at 4:45 pm for 5:00 pm start
PEE WEES – arrive at 5:15 pm for 5:30 start
JUNIORS – arrive at 5:45 pm for 6:00 pm start

The Pep Rally kicking off the 2010 football season will be held on Friday, September 10th...we open the season the next day with a home game at Veterans Field...time and details for both will be announced by coaches that week...mark your calendars!

We will be holding the second uniform fitting tomorrow night for those of you that were unable to make it the first time around. The location is at the Saddle Brook High School practice field, in the two trailers to the left of the main football field…coaches will be there to help ensure a proper fit!
IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO THIS FITTING…YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF PRACTICE TO GET YOUR EQUIPMENT.

Calling all competitors! Join us for the 2nd Annual Ultimate Football Challenge on Saturday, August 28th at Veterans' Field to test your skills against the best! Boys and girls from Kindergarten - 8th grade will compete in a variety of events including 40 yard dash, passing accuracy, throwing and kicking distance, tire pull and THE ULTIMATE OBSTACLE COURSE! We are pleased to announce the new Head Coach of the Senior Division is Rich Wellins. Coach Wellins is 27 years old and grew up in Clifton, where he played Varsity Football and other sports. He went on to Thomas Edison State College, while continually being involved as a coach in the football program in Clifton. He has been a United States Air Force Reserve since 2007 as an Air Force police officer.
Coach Wellins Assistant Head Coach is Bob Hrubec, a product of Don Bosco, who is a resident of Saddle Brook. Coach Wellins has assembled a terrific coaching staff that will give the boys every opportunity to succeed. He is excited for the challenge ahead and is fully committed to making our senior squad a huge success in 2010! We hope you will join us in welcoming the new staff to the program...
