REGISTER NOW FOR SPRING 2018 BASEBALL TRAINING FOR AGES 2-5
T-Ball (Ages 2-3) and Instructional (Ages 4-5)
Warm weather is on its way! Really!
So it's time to sign up for baseball training for our youngest players, boys and girls ages 2-5.
We have been starting kids off on the right foot in baseball for over a decade now. We teach them all the basic skills and we make it a lot of fun.
For T-ball, we teach them throwing, catching grounders and pop-ups, batting off a tee, running bases, and tagging runners to make outs on defense. You will be amazed by how much they will learn and how fast they will learn it!
For Instructional, we teach all the fundamental skills and reinforce them with drills, but the big difference is that pitching is live underhand, not off a tee, and we start playing scrimmage games so the kids can put those skills to use in real-game situations. They aren't on a team yet, but the idea of the program is to get them completely ready to join a team in the coming year.
Parents are an important part of the program, so be prepared to chip in, whether you played the game yourself or it is brand new to you.
T-ballers do not need a glove, but can use one if they have it. For Instructional, a glove is the only thing they need to supply. We supply everything else.
Here is the REGISTRATION FORM.
The deadline to register is April 15.
The programs run on Sundays, April 22 through June 17.
T-ball is 9:00-10:00am, Instructional 10:00-11:30am.
We play at DiMattina Field (on Hicks Street at Rapelye Street, in Carroll Gardens). There is on-street parking outside the field, and the field is close by the F/G train at Carroll Street and the B57 and B61 buses.
