The HEAT is proud to announce LeeAnne McDowell #99 has verbally committed to Florida Gulf Coast University! FGCU is a division II school located in Naples, Florida. LeeAnne started with the original HEAT team in '98! We are happy to have had LeeAnne as part of the HEATs beginning and carrying her onto the next level-College ball. I still can't believe it's gone by so fast! Just don't forget You still have a lot of games with the HEAT!

Renay got more offers in Texas, but still decides she wants to stay close to home for a few years. She will play for MCC (Jeff Roberts). A great group of talented athletes have come from Miss Sarasota Softball travel teams.
