After losing once again to the Bandits in the Northern Conference Championship, the Horns look to claim the North once again. They have upgraded their offense to go along with a steady defense. On the other hand, the Ruff Ryders look to show the league they can win without QB Scott Kissee and RB Raynald Ray. They still have veterans such as Eddie Flores, Shaun Battles and a quick footed QB. There has been much jawing on the message board the past few weeks. Just to give you an example of how much people have been anticipating the game, it has already exceeded 19,500 views and over 63 replies. The match up to keep an eye on is DE/CB Dontay Evans of the Longhorns and RB/LB Shaun Battles of the Ruff Ryders. Who will prevail? Old school Horns of the now Ruff Ryders or new school Horns?     Sat 2/2/08 10am - 11:30am Horns vs. Bandits The Horns open the season against 4x champion George Garza and the Bandits. The Horns look for a little revenge as the Bandits over came a 12 point deficit in the 4th qtr to knock the Horns out the playoffs once again. This is a long running rivalry and should be a good one.
