Rumford Little League
Little League Notes: The Rumford Junior Boys, Rhode Island State Champions, lost two extra inning games at the regional playoffs in New Jersey. It was a great season. They look forward to defending their state title next season. It was the first ever boys state title for RLL.
The Rumford LL 7 - 8 All - Star team finished their season at Slater Park in the Andreozzi Tournament with a loss to Barrington. The team made it to the playoff round as the fourth seed out of 18 teams.
