Cooperstown 2011 -

Sunday 8/14- Our 12U team got off to a great start by beating the West Bay Patriots from Rhode Island 13-4 (Homeruns-Klein & Frias).  Lost a tough second game against Seattle Select Purple-WA 8-5.

Monday 8/15- After a 9 hour rain delay, our 12U team finished it's game against the Howell Vipers-NJ with a 11-3 victory(Homerun-Schell).

ROX defeated Westfield Wizards-MA in the late night game 6-2.  Go ROX!

Tuesday 8/16- ROX was defeated by N.B.N.M. Rebels-NY 13-10 in their first game. In their second game, ROX beat Southside Rage-IL 11-8.

Wednesday 8/17- ROX get seeded #37 out of 104 teams. First game of single elimination was against Jersey Shore Thunder-NJ, ROX win 6-3 (Frias walk off homerun). ROX win their second game of the tournament by defeating Power Storm-CA 13-7.  ROX ends their week on a tough loss to the Las Vegas Toros 3-2 (Homerun-Schell & 9 K's for Lopez).

In addition to playing some great baseball the ROX had 2 top ten finishes in the skills competition.  Out of 104 teams, Noah Fluman finished in a tie for 6th place in the Golden Arm competition and Michael Frias finished in a tie for 10th place in the King of Swat competion.  Way to go boys!

The ROX have joined the National
USSSA, SOCAL SUPER SERIES, AAU, CCYB and TRIPLE CROWN Baseball organizations to round out their competitive programs. The ROX program is looking for the best players in all of Orange County to join their Spring 2012 program.
The Coaches have years of experience at the youth and high school levels.

1. Tournaments in Northern and Southern California, Cooperstown NY, Oklahoma, Georgetown Delaware, Reno Nevada and Steamboat Springs Colorado.

2. Excellent preparatory program for high school, and intense focus on fundamentals.
