Rowan Little League: Spring 2012 Divisions
The league is for 5-6 year olds. The league uses a softer baseball. Each child will be thrown 4 pitches from the coach overhand. If a child is unable to hit the ball then they will be allowed to hit off of a tee.
Coach Pitch
The league is for 7-8 year olds. The league uses a regular Little League baseball. Each child will be thrown 7 pitches from the coach overhand. Walks are not allowed in this league and a child will be out after 4 strikes.
B League
The league is for 9-10 year olds and is also the first year of kid pitch.
A League
The league is for 11-12 year olds.
10U Softball

8U Coach Pitch Softball
This is a new softball division geared toward girls ages 6 -8.
Pre-TBall
For ages 3 and 4. This league will use the Tee always.
Challenger
Junior League
The league is for 13-14 year olds and typically starts after the end of the Middle School Baseball season in the Month of May. Email rowanbaseball@carolina.rr.com for more info.
Sr. League
This league is for 15 - 16 year olds and combines with Spencer and East Rowan for inter-league play.
