Thursday, April 10
Summer Track is Starting

Practice for summer track starts next week. Practices will be at the Cedar Ridge High School (2801 Gattis School Road, Round Rock) track. The schedule for next week only is:

  • Monday, April 14th, 6:00pm - 7:00/7:30pm
  • Thursday, April 17th, 6:00pm - 7:00/7:30pm

 Additional practice dates will follow.

Athletes should wear running attire and running shoes and bring water. Parents should sit in the stands during practice. 



Sunday, March 9
Conditioning Schedule

Our conditioning schedule will be 3:30pm - 5:00/5:30pm on the following Sundays:

  • March 16, 2014

Friday, March 7
Spring Training

Our track season is quickly approaching and we will start conditioning training on March 9th, weather permitting. This is optional training and is not required to participate in summer track, but it is recommended to get the athletes in shape. Please dress in running attire, running shoes, and bring water bottles.

Registration Fee: $50.00 per athlete

National Qualifier Meet @ Converse, TX

Location: Rutledge Stadium, 900 S Seguin Road, Converse, TX 78109

This track meet will take place on Saturday, June 15th only. All athletes should arrive at 6:30am.

Location: Dragon Stadium, Round Rock High School, 300 N Lake Creek Drive, Round Rock, TX

Friday Arrival Time:

  • 6:30am - Primary - Midget (running events)
  • 6:30am - Sub-Youth - Young Men/Women (field events)

Saturday Arrival Time:

  • 6:30am - Sub-Youth - Young Men/Women (running events)
  • 6:30am - Primary - Midget (field events) 

All athletes meet outside the gate for the arm band or a bib. 

Uniforms for the intermediate/young women are royal blue shorts worn underneath red shorts. These were given to the girls. Please make sure they bring the proper uniform. If they will not wear the blue longer shorts that come with the uniform and if they decline to wear them, they will not run.

We will have tents in the stands at this meet; parents are welcome to sit with the team. We encourage parents to bring tents. We have 3 team tents, but are using a total of 6 tents or more.

Parents will not be allowed on the field during meets per AAU rules.

Items athletes need to bring:

  • Spikes
  • Running shoes
  • Warm-ups
  • Sunblock
  • Sleeping bag or blanket
  • Water
  • Fruit
  • Sack lunch 

Please remember to have your children drink plenty of water starting on Friday and no milk products on Saturday morning.

Carment Kiara Track Meet at Reagan High School on Saturday, June 8th

Arrival Time: 7:00am - field events athletes (field events start at 8:00am)
Meet Time: 8:30am - running events athletes (running events start at 10:00am)

All athletes meet outside the gate at the back of the stadium. 

Parents - there is a $5.00 entry for all spectators.

We will have tents in the stands at this meet; parents are welcome to sit with the team. We encourage parents to bring tents. We have 3 team tents, but are using a total of 6 tents or more.

  • If you have a canopy or umbrella, you may want to bring it. We try to keep our athletes out of the sun while they aren't running. And you'll probably need it, too! :-) Depending on the location, your own lawn chair may also come in handy (stadium seats get hard through the day).
  • Field and distance events start earlier than running events; just be aware there may be a few hours between the time you arrive and the time your athlete runs their first race.
  • We stay for the entire meet to support all our athletes. A good cheering section does wonders for everyone.

To replace our holiday on Monday (Memorial Day), we will practice Wednesday of this week - May 29th. Same time, same place.

No track practice on Monday due to the Memorial Day weekend. See you Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm.
