AAU Region 19 Qualifier Track Meet @ DW Rutledge Stadium (Judson HS)

Date: Thursday - Saturday June 26th - 28th, 2014
Location: DW Rutledge Stadium, Judson High School, 900 S Seguin, Converse, TX
Arrival Time: 6:00am each day; meet outside stadium

Parents - there is a $8.00 per day entry fee, or a 3-day pass for $20, for all spectators. We will sit in the stands. Also, parents are not allowed on the field during track meets (AAU rule).

Once issued, athletes will need to wear their bib or arm band each day for entry into the stadium.

Items athletes need to bring:

  • Spikes
  • Running shoes
  • Warm-ups
  • Sunblock
  • Sleeping bag or blanket
  • Water
  • Fruit
  • Food
  • Cooler

Remember to have your children drink plenty of water starting on Friday and no milk products on Saturday morning.

Parent Meeting/Updated Practice Schedule

Our first parent meeting will be this Thursday, May 1st at 6:30pm.

All registration forms, copies of birth certificates, and payments are due in order to participate in this week's track meet (May 3rd - Reach One).

Practices this week Tuesday and Thursday. From now on, practices will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at Cedar Ridge High Schoo.

Summer Track is Starting

Practice for summer track starts next week. Practices will be at the Cedar Ridge High School (2801 Gattis School Road, Round Rock) track. The schedule for next week only is:

  • Monday, April 14th, 6:00pm - 7:00/7:30pm
  • Thursday, April 17th, 6:00pm - 7:00/7:30pm

 Additional practice dates will follow.

Athletes should wear running attire and running shoes and bring water. Parents should sit in the stands during practice.

Spring Training

Our track season is quickly approaching and we will start conditioning training on March 9th, weather permitting. This is optional training and is not required to participate in summer track, but it is recommended to get the athletes in shape. Please dress in running attire, running shoes, and bring water bottles.
