You might remember one of them … Dave Johnson who competed in decathlon at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. Upon graduation from APU Coach Kent held the Jump Coach position for Rubidoux High School (Riverside, CA) for two years. He was recruited from here to Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) to become an assistant coach where he trained track and field (T&F) athletes in all disciplines. His first year at OBU the men’s team won the national NAIA T&F title. From OBU he went to Tulsa, OK to become a full-time high school teacher / head track coach for the largest high school in the state (Broken Arrow HS). Coach Kent returned to California and settled in Roseville, CA where he became a certified personal trainer and the head sprint coach at Granite Bay High School (GBHS). His second year at GBHS the boys 4x100M relay team took 4th place at the California State T&F meet. Next Level Athletics and Fitness has allowed Adarian to continue his passion for knowledge of athletics and to share this knowledge with anyone with an open mind and an equal passion for pushing human performances.Coach Chad (Cross Country Sub-Bantam / Bantam Squad Coach)
Coach Chad began seriously competing in Track and Field his sophomore year at Roseville High School. Starting out as a sprinter he didn’t have too much success at the short sprints, failing to qualify for the sectional meet. After High School he went on to Sierra Junior College in Rocklin and moved up in distance to the 400 meters and Long Jump and well as the relays. After two years of not advancing past NorCal Junior College Trials, he moved up in distance once again when he walked on at CSU Sacramento to the 800 meters. He placed 6th in the America West Conference meet in his final collegiate meet in 1996. Realizing that maybe his potential was in the distance events he continued to move up until running his first Marathon in 1998. Since that time he continued to progress in the event with the peak being his personal best of 2:22 in 2002 that qualified him for the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials in Birmingham, AL. Chad continues to compete in many road races in the area looking to once again earn a birth to the U.S. Olympic Trials, while still coaching several sports throughout the year. Education:

Coach David redisovered running as an out-of-shape computer engineer, finishing his first 10k road race in 1999. He fell in love with distance running, and has since lost 35 pounds and completed dozens of road races, a few triathlons, and six marathons including Boston in 2006.
