We would like to announce and congratulate Coach Al Ellis of Rocky Point High School. This weekend at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta, Coach Ellis was selected as the ... 2004 New York State Large School Coach of the Year. Congratulation to Coach Ellis and all the awesome teams he has coached. Al just completed his 27 varsity season as head coach at Rocky Point. He has compiled 324 victories, 12 League Championships, 1 Suffolk County Title, 3 Class 'B' Championships and in 1984 won the New York State Class 'B' Championship (1-0) over Clarence High School from Buffalo. It was the only NYS Championship game that was ever decided in sudden-victory overtime.
