1. Study hard and achieve the highest possible GPA in high school.
2. Study hard and achieve the best possible scores on the ACT and SAT.
3. Register online at ncaaclearinghouse.com. , now called the NCAA Eligibility Center.
4. Register on berecruited.com.
5. Observe all Mustangs team rules and stay out of trouble with the law.
6. Hustle all out at all Mustangs practices.
7. Play every Mustangs game as if it is your last.
8. Start contacting colleges that you are interested in early in your junior year. Let the baseball coach know that you are a baseball player, who is interested in his program. Complete and send any recruit questionaires, evaluations, etc. Arrange visits and try outs. 9. Stay in shape during the off season.
10. Attend camps during the off season. There are good, inexpensive ones around Salt Lake City. Mesquite, NV also has good ones. Search the internet for baseball camps, showcases, and college tryout camps.
