Rock Island Orca Swimming: Welcome
Try us out week - August 25 - 29th our coaches will be at the pool at 5:30 p.m. each day for those children who have not been involved with competitive swimming. This will give those children an opportunity to try us out and it is free.
Practice for the fall session will begin on September 2, 2008. For times please see the practice times page.
We should have the ability to register online up shortly.
Sunday, November 2
Board Meeting Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 8 p.m. - We will have our monthly Board Meeting this thursday at the pool. We hope to secure a class room. Every parent of an ORCA swimmer is invited to attend.
Maverick Roundup 2008 is this weekend. A few of our swimmers will attend this meet at Naperville Central High School.
Trivia night is Sat. Nov. 15 at Garner Place 1531 West 53 St Davenport IA. Tables are limited so register your team ASAP they can contact Jackie for reservations. We do need help with donations for door prizes and Raffle items.
Redbird Fall Swim Classic is the 21 - 23rd of this month.
The winter session starts DECEMBER 1 make sure you have met your financial obligations.
Our Pentathlon is on December 7.
