Riverside Little League: My Site News

Riverside Little League was able to reserve spring training spots at the Billings Sportsplex. Indoors!!!

The dates are: February 24, March 3, March 10, March 17 - all on Thursdays from 5:30pm to 7:30 pm.

Cost is 5.00 per session, or discount for all, only 15.00

We will also be holding a portion of our try-outs at the Sportsplex. Dates will be announced later.

It is open to all kids trying out for Majors and above. If you are not sure about it, please come and improve your skills. 

All participants will need an adult present and bring a mitt, wear comfortable clothing.

Also, we welcome Elizabeth Latimore, Kevin Andriolo,Gary Ratzlaff and Michelle Perry to the board. 

Riverside Little League still has several board positons open, and is in desperate need to fill them. Please be PRO-ACTIVE and consider joining the board to help out. Meetings are the First Tuesday of every month, at 6pm at Orchard School. Enter through the back by the gym.

We need to fill the Umpire in Chief (primarily schedules umpires for games.) You do not have to be an umpire to do this position. We can always use umpires too.

We also need to fill Head of Field Maintenance. This postion does field work, and finds people to help with the fields. Riverside has a riding mower and equipment, we need bodies to help.

We had a very successful HIT A THON in 2010 and are planning major field improvements in the lower divisions, please come and see what's going on.

FYI...hint...2011 Hit A Thon will some great incentives...
