Ridin' for Research is a non-profit organization that coordinates a one-day indoor cycling fundraising event with over 100 indoor cycling bikes in one location for the fitness community to come together and raise money for cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

With the help of area fitness clubs, we accummulate a variety of spin bikes. Barrett Moving & Storage moves the bikes from the clubs to our venue site. Certified cycling instructors from southeastern Wisconsin take turns leading four 80 minute sessions. Participants choose when they want to ride, and collect pledges for their efforts. They can even elect to bring their own bikes & trainers and ride with the group. Exciting Events creates a concert like atmosphere with professional sound, lighting, and video. The UW-Milwaukee Ladies' Basketball Team assists the riders by refilling water bottles, and bringing nutritional snacks. The best part of this event is you control the effort, so the duration is very manageable - we start and finish this ride together; no one is ever left behind!

Today we have now given more than $1,112,000 to the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. We hope you will come and join us next year to help us make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer!
