Ridin' for Research is a non-profit organization that coordinates the fitness community coming together to raise money for cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
The first 7 years of this event our efforts were directed soley to the MCW Cancer Center! However in 2008, as the event grew in popularity, our team decided to partner with and raise money for the MACC Fund - Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, who's mission supports childhood cancer research at the MCW.
Since our 2001 inception, we have raised over $1,045,000 for cancer research, with over $662,000 going to the MACC Fund.
2012 Ridin' for Research is grateful for the generous support of Menomonee Falls School District, Leadership Menomonee Falls, Barret Moving & Storeage, Emery's Third Coast Cycling & Tri Shops, Elite Sports Clubs, UW-Milwaukee Women's Panther Basketball Team, Milkus & Lofy, S.C., Exciting Events, David Insurance, Image Master Photography, Schwanke-Kasten Jewelers, David Hobbs Honda, and YMCAs of Metro Milwaukee.
