Reston Crushers: Coaching Philosopy

Coaching Philosopy

The philosophy of the Reston Crushers’ coaching staff provides the foundation for our soccer program. The coaching staff believes that if each player is allowed to develop their individual style of play that the team will benefit from players comfortable with their skills. The philosophy for practice and training is to provide individual, hands-on attention to maximize the benefit from the time with each player to develop their skills and their understanding of the game.

The Crushers’ coaching staff relies on and appreciates contributions from all team resources, including team management, team assistants and parents to accomplish team goals. The coaching staff strives to develop skills that players can use on the field and building a team community of soccer players and families who feel the passion of the game.

The Reston Crushers' program builds skills for soccer and skills for life.
