        COMBAT PITCHER
PROGRAM
We are Kansas City's only complete Combat Pitcher training program, the follow up to Ron Wolforth's highly innovative Athletic Pitcher Program.  There is no great secret to throwing harder and healthier.  The athlete must train and prepare for the workload of throwing everyday.  The program increases the athletes agility, flexibility, stamina, core strength, and arm strength.  We prepare the body to throw harder and more often.  It takes a commitment from the athlete and from parents.  There are 2 basic programs:   Combat Player - meets 2 days per week, Combat Player Elite - meets 3 days per week.  
 
Who can't use an extra 7-10mph?


Combat Pitcher Program

This is our CORE conditioning program specifically designed for the pitching athlete. In this program the athlete learns the correct way to wake up/warm up the body for the demands of throwing a ball at max velocity.  In the 12 week program, pitchers will be introduced to the techniques and workload that is required to be a successful high school and collegiate pitcher.  During this initial time the player can determine if he has the time and desire to improve his game.  The annual program is a complete pitcher training program.  It is comprised of the following components:  (1) off-season - pure condition and velocity creation, we will focus 90% on velocity and 10% on command.  (2) preseason - continued conditioning, we will focus 50% on velocity and 50% on command, begin bullpens.  (3) spring training - continued conditioning, focus 10% velocity and 90% command, weekly bullpens.  (4) season - meet once a week to maintain conditioning and do arm care drills.  




Bat Speed Training

This is our CORE conditioning program specifically designed for the needs of the hitter.

Benefits of the program include:

increased batspeed
improved lateral quickness
increased linear speed
increase in power and explosiveness.





CORE Sport Conditioning

This is our base conditioning program. All participants will be put through a 60 minute training session designed to make the player a better athlete. We will teach the athlete the correct way to prepare the body for max effort. Through a series of exercises and drills the athlete will increase their speed, quickness, power, agility, and coordination. These classes are available for an athlete in any sport, age, or condition.

Most athletes will train with their age group: 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, High School.
