New Rules & Tidbits For The 2009 Season

1. New Rules: A Player Has To Make 8 Games To Be Eligible For The Playoffs. Even If A Player Is Injured He Still Has To Be There For A Total Of 8 Games. He Can Help His Manager By Keeping Score, Coaching 1st Or 3rd Base, Or Warming Up The Pitcher Between Innings, Or Warming Up A Pitcher In The Bullpen.

2. A Manager Is Now Allowed To Slot Players Only In The Playoffs. A Manager Does Not Have To Do This If He Does Not Want To. A Team Is Only Allowed To Slot Down To What The Other Team Has. For Example, If Your Team Has 14 Players Present & The Other Team Has 11 Players You Can Slot Your Last 6 Players Into The Last 3 Spots So That Your Team Will Now Equal The Number Of Spots In The Lineup That The Other Team Has.

3. If You Have 8 Players And No One Else Is Around, You Will Play With 8 Players & An Out Will Be Recorded To The Team With 8 At The Start Of The 3rd, 5th, & 7th Innings. If The Team With 8 Players Gets A 9th Player Anytime During The Game Then Everything Goes Back To Normal.

4. You Must Have 7 Of Your Own Players To Start Any Game.

5. If You Only Have 7 Players You Are Allowed To Borrow 2 Players From The League And They Must Bat In The 8th & 9th Positions In The Order. An Out Will Be Recorded To Start The 3rd, 5th, & 7th Innings.
