New Rules & Tidbits For The 2009 Season

1. New Rules: A Player Has To Make 8 Games To Be Eligible For The Playoffs. Even If A Player Is Injured He Still Has To Be There For A Total Of 8 Games. He Can Help His Manager By Keeping Score, Coaching 1st Or 3rd Base, Or Warming Up The Pitcher Between Innings, Or Warming Up A Pitcher In The Bullpen.

2. A Manager Is Now Allowed To Slot Players Only In The Playoffs. A Manager Does Not Have To Do This If He Does Not Want To. A Team Is Only Allowed To Slot Down To What The Other Team Has. For Example, If Your Team Has 14 Players Present & The Other Team Has 11 Players You Can Slot Your Last 6 Players Into The Last 3 Spots So That Your Team Will Now Equal The Number Of Spots In The Lineup That The Other Team Has. Also With That If A Player Comes Late In A Playoff Game Which Is After The Lineups Are In And The First Pitch Has Been Thrown He Will Be Placed At The End Of The Lineup Regardless Of The Situation. If A Team Is Slotting Or Not Slotting That Player Who Shows Up Late Will Take Up 1 Full Spot At The End Of That Teams Order.

3. If You Have 8 Players And No One Else Is Around, You Will Play With 8 Players & An Out Will Be Recorded To The Team With 8 At The Start Of The 3rd, 5th, & 7th Innings. If The Team With 8 Players Gets A 9th Player Anytime During The Game Then Everything Goes Back To Normal.

4. You Must Have 7 Of Your Own Players To Start Any Game.

5. If You Only Have 7 Players You Are Allowed To Borrow 2 Players From The League And They Must Bat In The 8th & 9th Positions In The Order. An Out Will Be Recorded To Start The 3rd, 5th, & 7th Innings.
