The Raptors 97 won their first tournament of the 2006 Fall Season...Liberty Cup Soccerfest U10 CHAMPIONS!!
Going into their Sunday morning match, the Raptors and the BUSA Lady Jets 96 Gold were both undefeated and tied in points. Right at the end of the 1st half, the Raptors scored their first goal (Julia), then, secured the victory with three 2nd half goals...Haley(2), Julia (1) with assists from Alison and Summer!!
In the first two games, goals were scored by most everyone on the team, Lily, Alison (2), Julia(2), Krystyn (2), Haley, and Chandler. Mary Charles and Sophie kept giving the team the opportunities to score, while Summer would take those opportunities away from the opponents! GREAT TOURNAMENT!
