Welcome to the site of the  RCUSC Raptors 97...

The Raptors 97 are part of the River City Raptors based in Decatur, Alabama. The Raptors are members of the Alabama Youth Soccer Association (AYSA), which is the state organization for the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA).   Home games for the River City Raptors are played at either the Jack Allen Recreation Complex (JARC) or Pt. Mallard Soccer fields.

The Raptors 97 are girls that basically live and attend school in Decatur (Austin, Decatur, and Cedar Ridge), with a few from surrounding areas, such as Hartselle, Athens, Priceville, and Vinemont!! 

 The Raptors 97 will be a Divison II U-15 Girls team for the Fall of 2011 competing in the AYSA Divison II State league, Some teams from the area include  HFC 97 Maroon,   and VFC (Valley) 97.   For 2011-2012, the State Cup  for this age group is in Decatur the first two weekends of November.

From a travel standpoint, expect some travel to Birmingham, Montgomery, Madison, and Huntsville for Division II games. Then, possible tournament locations: Huntsville, Birmingham (Liberty Cup in August), Memphis (Sept 10-11), anyone for the beach?, all TBD.
